I have added an RSS feed for the "breaking news" from School Library Journal. It will allow me to keep up with news and events happening around school libraries, especially in the US.

Podcast for School Librarians
Podcast: Librarians Celebrate Controversial Books
Here is a podcast that discussed banned book "month" instead of week, out in Venture, California. I found it interesting that I have read many of the books that some people wanted to ban.
I found this one at the yahoo podcast search engine.

I liked this school's library blog because it had a lot of student interaction on it and they were trying different ways to get the kids back "into school" with some interesting polls and books to read.

ISAR
This blog is a work in progress. It is to provide a means of communication for ISAR. My library type of interest is public school libraries and my topic of interest is how school librarians can be of a greater help to the teachers in offering books of interest to students, to promote a love of reading in students, and to offer help in research at the junior high and high school levels.
